For this project we supplied and installed 3.no #Weinor Topas with hood model awnings. Our client, The Livestock Partnership, were looking for shading for their veterinary premises and they approached us for awnings suitable for this purpose, and also to provide protection for the customers when waiting outside.
When surveying the premises for installation, it was obvious that there was no substantial structure to fix on to, therefore we suggested installing a run of tanalised timber to reinforce all the fixings behind the timber frame.
The practice is trying to make the building carbon neutral so we recommended manual awnings over motorised and used sustainable fabrics, manufactured using recycled plastic bottles. High-quality pigments are stored in each individual fibre resulting in especially good colour fastness and high UV resistance. We setup a 3D simulator to show the different colour options superimposed onto the building in situ. We recommended the bright orange which would be really striking and also co-ordinate with their branding and company colours, which were orange, black and yellow. We were delighted the orange was picked as the colour offset with the fabric of the building creates a stunning finish. The client is also thrilled with the results and their feedback shows just how much.
"We have been really pleased with the awnings (and no regrets about the decision to be bold with the colour to match our branding!), so it has been a worthwhile investment to make our office environment more comfortable for staff. We would definitely recommend Bramley Blinds as a company that genuinely want to work with you to find a solution that works both financially and aesthetically." – Emily Brearley, Livestock Partnership, Wisborough Green
